Hamilton County Officials

Ohio State Legislature

When most people think about government, they picture Washington, D.C.—but some of the most impactful decisions affecting our daily lives are made in Columbus.

In recent years, we’ve seen that statehouses are battlegrounds for critical rights and freedoms. Your voice matters most at the state level, where margins are often razor-thin and turnout low.

Term Length: 2 years with a limit of 4 consecutive terms (8 years)

Next Election: November 3, 2026
